Adobe Premiere Elements makes it possible to create, produce and edit your own personal movies. It's a stripped-down version of Adobe Premiere. The trial version comes with full functionality for 30 days to allow you to try out the software. If you don't need the full functionality of Adobe Premiere, then the reduced version of the software provides you with all of the options you need to use the basic features of the professional version. Adobe Premiere Elements serves as a stepping stone to the more-advanced program and can help you learn to use the advanced program without getting distracted by the more-advanced features.

Video editing used to be something that required several hard drives and extremely expensive video editing software. The average user was locked out of the video editing industry. With Adobe Premiere Elements, anyone can create his or her own presentations and edit their videos. It goes well beyond the basic capabilities of Windows Movie Maker. Users can extract video from a large variety of sources and combine them into a presentation, adding special effects and filters and share their videos with various social media platforms. Elements provides several innovative features, including the Move feature that allows you to retouch and move objects, an enhanced toning feature to edit frames, textures and various effects. The program even provides an option to remove the notorious Pet Eye effect.

Adobe Premiere elements helps you organize your workspace by dividing your work into two separate functions -- the Organizer and the Project Editor. The Organizer contains all of your crops and information needed for a project. This is the area that you can browse and select from your various media files. The Project Editor allows you to work with elements in the Organizer to create and manipulate projects. This aspect focuses on the creative part of your project and allows you to work with imported media, cut, trim and edit video.

The application supports all of the most-common media formats and includes support for HD video. The built-in preview windows and timeline allows you to view your project in several ways, allowing for the most effective presentation of your video. The program allows you to work with all of the important special effects, transitions, graphics, text, menus and other features common to videos. You can also share your final product with others on various social media sites, media streaming sites or by creating a DVD or Blu-Ray disk to play in optical drives.
